Destination Broadway Class of 2005 – Week One

	Caroline is a 7 year old who has been hooked on Broadway since she saw her first show at age four. She wants to learn what it takes to be a success.
	Alexandra is a 14 year old whose passion is singing and acting. Her dream is to be on Broadway. She hopes she can become more professional from this camp.
	Hannah is 12 years old. Destination Broadway is “a dream come true.” She hopes to learn how to improve her acting and dancing skills and meet new friends.
	Savannah is a 15 year old rising tenth grader who has been in numerous community and school productions. She hopes to improver her acting skills and greatly improve her dancing skills.
	Sabrina is 16 years old and has been performing for as long as she can remember. She says that “it’s in her blood.” For the future she plans to get a degree in musical theatre, going on Broadway, having fun, and enjoying camp again this summer.
	Allison is an 11 year old who has been singing since she could vocalize and dancing since she could walk. Hip hop, ballet, vocal excerpts from Broadway shows, modern dance – on the stage, Allison is at home. Destination Broadway will provide her with valuable experiences and skills to succeed doing what she already loves.
	Rebecca is 12 years old and has been dancing for 10 years and dancing for 5 years. She loves to tap and hopes to improve her singing, dancing, and acting skills at Destination Broadway.
	Leanna is a 17 year old who loves musical theater. She would like to pursue a career in the entertainment business. She is excited in the entertainment business. She is excited about returning to Destination Broadway this summer.
	Jessica is 17 years old and enjoys dancing. She wants to work more on her singing and acting. She has been dancing for 14 years and has loved every minute of it. Being accepted into Destination Broadway was a wonderful accomplishment and hopes this will help her career in singing and dancing.
	Christopher is a 10 year old who has experience with stage, television, and video productions. At Destination Broadway he hopes to improve his skills so that his career stays on track for Broadway and/or movies.
	Ashley is 15 years old. She loves dancing and has been dancing for 11 years. While at Destination Broadway she hopes to become a better singer as well as a better all around performer.
	Katherine is 13 years old and loves performing. She also likes talking on the phone and shopping. She is very excited about attending Destination Broadway this year.
	Alexis is an 11 year old who enjoys singing and dancing. She has danced for 9 years. This summer at Destination Broadway she hopes to get a better understanding of what theater is all about.
	Taylor is an 8 year old who began dance at age three. She loves attending Broadway shows and hopes to one day perform in a show herself. She hopes to improve her dance skills and gain more knowledge of the performing arts at Destination Broadway this summer.
	Joel is 12 years old and going into seventh grade. He loves to tap dance and sing. At Destination Broadway he wants to learn how to catch on quickly to audition choreography.
	Henry is 14 years old and is extremely excited about Destination Broadway. He enjoys all types of theater and participates in theater in his school and community. At Destination Broadway he hopes to learn more about the profession and himself.
	Nicola is 17 years old. She says that nothing brings her happiness like music and dance. She hopes that Destination Broadway will give her the skills she needs to make the arts stay a part of her life.
	Ellen is a 16 year old who is thrilled to be going to Destination Broadway this summer. She loves singing and dancing. She has been trained in both and is looking forward to learning about other areas of the performing arts.

	Lauren is a 17 year old who is a dance student and teacher assistant. She loves improv and impersonations. She hopes that Destination Broadway will give her an unforgettable experience, education and edge.
	Tiffany is a 17 year old junior in high school. She loves all different styles of music, movies, and plays. This summer at Destination Broadway she hopes to learn how to broaden her skills as a performer, be a more confident and diverse individual, and how to present herself confidently to others.
	Kelly is a 17 year old junior who loves to try new things. She enjoys singing, dancing, acting and expressing herself through the arts.
	Brittany is a 14 year old who has been involved with the performing arts for ten years. She loves inspiring and being inspired and believes that her passion for acting, dancing, singing and all things theatrical fulfills both. She looks forward to learning from all the incredibly talented people at Destination Broadway. She would like to strengthen her talents and believes the experience will last a lifetime.
	Brittany is a 17 year old who has been dancing since age three and has been involved in theater since first grade. She enjoys singing, acting, and dancing, and hopes to pursue it in college.
	Piper is a 15 year old whose greatest desire in life is to sing and act. For as long as she can remember performing has always played a large role in her life. Having the opportunity to train with the professionals at Destination Broadway is a great honor. She hopes to develop her skills to become a better performer
	Charles is a 14 year old who has been acting and singing since he could talk. He lives every day like it is the last day of his life. He always wanted to pursue a life of performing arts and hopes Destination Broadway will make his theater career take flight.
	Jasmine is 11 years old. She was in a talent show and play last year. She helped design the set for the play. At Destination Broadway she would like to learn more about acting and dancing this summer.
	Lacey is a 17 year old who has been dancing since the age of 4 with training in ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, hip-hop, and lyrical. She has enjoyed singing and performing in musical productions with her high school, dance company, and community theater. She hopes to major in dance or musical theater and wants to find a career where she can combine her love of theater and dance.
	Alexandra is a 13 year old who studies dance and musical theater. She is looking forward to the new experiences at Destination Broadway
	Hannah is a 14 year old who is “wickedly” obsessed with all things Broadway. At Destination Broadway she hopes to learn how to be a successful Broadway performer.
	Katherine is a 17 year old who loves nothing more than to be on stage and hopes to gain more confidence and knowledge by attending Destination Broadway
No Picture Available	Elizabeth is a 16 year old who has been dancing since she was three. She has been performing in plays at school since her freshman year. Broadway plays are her favorite (especially “Thoroughly Modern Millie”). She hopes her experiences at Destination Broadway will improve her acting and singing skills and get her ready for auditions on Broadway.
	Daniel is a 10 year old. He has been playing the piano for 6 years and performing in children’s theater.
	Madeline is 7 years old and loves to laugh and be dramatic. She likes riding horses and swimming. She loves to perform for everyone and loves to make others smile.
	Olivia is an 11 year old who loves to dance and sing. She has lots of animals and loves to ride horses. She loves to swim in the summer and sleigh ride in the winter. She also loves to perform for their elderly neighbors.
	Kristin is a 16 year old who has been a professional musical theater performer for over six years. A national award-winner, at Destination Broadway she hopes to further improve and “round out” her performing skills.
	Fiona is 12 years old. She enjoys singing, dancing, and acting. At Destination Broadway she hopes to learn different skills such as writing and designing.
	Elizabeth is an 18 year old who has been participating in musical theater at her school since she was 12. This summer at Destination Broadway she hopes to improve her skills and meet new people.
	Kelsey is 16 years old. She is interested in performing arts as a career. At Destination Broadway she wants to improve her communications and knowledge of all aspects of the arts.
	Tia is a 17 year old junior in school. She has been dancing since the age of three. She takes dance classes almost every day. She also participates in singing, cheerleading, softball, piano, and hanging out with friends.
	Laney is 13 years old and loves to sing and act. She hopes that this opportunity at Destination Broadway will help her learn more dancing and vocals that can help her in the future.
	Ashley is a 13 year old who has been performing since age three. This is when she realized that she wanted to be on Broadway. At Destination Broadway she hopes to learn everything that she can about Broadway.

She loves to be on stage to perform and entertain people for a brief moment of peace with their lives. At Destination Broadway she wants to learn all that she can about Broadway so that one day she can be on Broadway.
	Victoria is an 11 year old who loves to sing and dance. She hopes to learn skills at Destination Broadway that will enhance her artistic expression.
	Elaine is 15 years old. She has studied most types of dance including tap and modern for 13 years. She plans a career in performing arts.
	Brittany is a 14 year old who has been dancing for 11 years, and acting and singing for 8 years. She loves the performing arts and competition dance (mainly tap). She is extremely excited to be a part of Destination Broadway and very honored to be accepted.
	Katelyn is 17 years old and is excited to be attending Destination Broadway. She loves to dance and has won numerous awards. She would like to learn more about acting and voice to hopefully see her name in lights on Broadway.
	Ann is a 16 year old sophomore in high school. She enjoys dancing and swimming. Her school activities include dance team, DECA, FCA, and SADD.
	Meghan is an 18 year old high school senior attending college in the fall interested in the musical theater field. She is very excited to be attending Destination Broadway this summer and hopes to improve her singing.
	Alice is a 17 year old who has always been interested in theater and especially musical theater. She has broad interests and intends to pursue a career in theater production and/or performance. She hopes that Destination Broadway will better prepare her for this career.
	Asia is 12 years old and is an honor student going into seventh grade. She has been dancing competitively for 2 years. She loves music and dance. Her favorites are ballet, lyrical, and jazz. She hopes that Destination Broadway will be a great experience that will teach her more about dancing, acting, and other areas.
	Rachel is 16 years old. Laughing has always been her favorite pastime. At Destination Broadway she hopes to learn how to evoke laughter through every medium of the performing arts.
	Kyla is a 13 year old who enjoys singing, acting, and dancing. She hopes to learn a lot this summer at Destination Broadway to improve her skills.
	Stephanie is a 15 year old rising sophomore in high school. She enjoys running, swimming, and especially the performing arts. She is looking forward to working with experienced Broadway professionals at Destination Broadway and is sure that it will be an exciting experience.
	Alyssa is a 16 year old who has always enjoyed dancing and performing on stage. This summer at Destination Broadway she hopes to learn about Broadway and learn how to sing.
	Katelyn is 14 years old and has had an interest in the performing arts. She hopes to learn more about her abilities this summer at Destination Broadway.
	Alexis is 11 years old. She loves to dance and sing. She has been dancing for 9 years. Tap is her favorite. She can’t wait to meet Idina Menzel at Destination Broadway. She would also like to learn more about singing and dancing for Broadway.
	Alisha is 14 years old and has danced since the age of four. She has danced in many different competitions. She is very excited to learn the many different skills Destination Broadway has to offer.
	Emma is a 15 year old actress/singer/dancer who loves New York City. She aspires to be the next Bette Midler and thinks that Destination Broadway is the perfect place for her to start working towards this goal.
	Alexandra is an 18 year old who has dedicated much of the past seven years to performing and furthering her training. This summer at Destination Broadway she hopes to sharpen and enhance what skills she already has as well as develop new ones.
	Mary is an 18 year hardworking, determined girl with aspirations for the stage. Her dream began while watching Sir Laurence Olivier on film. She says that this is her life.
	Emma is 17 years old and has a passion for the performing arts, particularly musical theater. She is extremely thrilled about attending Destination Broadway and developing her vocal, acting, and dancing skills. Broadway and a life upon the stage has been a lifelong dream. She hopes to that this is a fabulous opportunity to do what she loves.
	Kelley is 16 years old and dance has been a major part of her life since she has been 4. She loves performing on stage. At Destination Broadway she looks to improving her voice and acting skills and meeting new friends.
	Katherine is a 13 year old who has done many videos and sung for various people. She loves to sing, dance, and perform. She hopes to become a Broadway singer/dancer one day.
	Brittany is a 14 year old who is very passionate about the performing arts and wishes to learn more life on Broadway at Destination Broadway. She plays piano and competes in dance, figure skating, and acting.
	Andrew is an 18 year old. He is very excited about attending Destination Broadway. He hopes to gain some dance experience and learn more about other areas of theater. He loves New York and Broadway. He is thrilled to take part in this amazing experience.
	Allison is 14 years old and loves to dance, act, and sing. She has been dancing since age 3. At Destination Broadway she hopes to learn what it takes to be a Broadway performer in the future.
	Britt is a 16 year old who has played the piano for 9 years, done gymnastics for 12 years, a cheerleader for 8 years, an actress for 7 years, but a singer for life.
