Destination Broadway Class of 2007—Week One

	Emily is nine years old and just finished third grade. This is her first trip to New York City. She is constantly in motion; loves to sing and dance and put on shows. Emily is excited about Destination Broadway and learning how to improve her skills.
	Jenny is a sixteen year old who loves to sing and act. She has been many school plays. Jenny hopes that Destination Broadway will help her become more confident with her singing, acting, and dancing.
	Caroline is nine years old who is returning to Destination Broadway for the third time. She hopes to broaden her skills as a performer at Destination Broadway. She also hopes to present herself with confidence. She is also looking forward to improving her vocal skills and hip hop moves.
	Mei Lu is a nine year old who has performed in community theatre musicals. She loves to perform. She has been singing since age two. She hopes to improve her Broadway skills while at Destination Broadway this summer.
	Meghan is an eleven year old who is overjoyed to be coming to the Destination Broadway. She hopes to learn more vocal and dance techniques. One day she wants to become a STAR!
	Katie is a fifteen year old that is thrilled to be attending Destination Broadway this summer. During this experience she hopes to learn about stage, vocal, and dance techniques. She also wants to learn about some of the areas of theater she is not familiar with. Katie loves to perform on stage whether it be singing, acting, or dancing. She thinks that this will be a wonderful experience.
	Alia is an eighteen year old returning to Destination Broadway for the second time this year. She has been performing in theater productions for almost five years. Alia is mainly a singer or actress. At Destination Broadway she would love to learn more about dance; however, she wants to learn more about site singing.
	Delaney is a twelve year old who loves to sing, dance, and act. She has been involved in performing arts for several years. She hopes to improve her vocal, dance (especially tap) and acting skills from the professionals at Destination Broadway.
	Alexander is an eleven year old who loves to perform. He is looking forward to attending Destination Broadway this summer.
	Emily is sixteen years old. She will be a high school junior and is excited to attend Destination Broadway this summer. She hopes to improve her singing and vocal technique.
	Allison is a thirteen year old who is returning to Destination Broadway for the third year. She has a passion for music and dance. She will go to Destination Broadway to learn more about herself and what she can do. She says that Destination Broadway is amazing.
	Alexander is a fourteen year old who enjoys playing sports, X-Box, and the performing arts. At Destination Broadway he plans to perfect his performing skills.
	Carson is a sixteen year old who absolutely loves theater. He has been part of many shows and hopes the Destination Broadway experience will help further his “artistic skills.”
	Katie is seventeen years old. She is a very approachable and friendly person who loves to laugh and talk with friends. She cannot wait to use her passion for singing at Destination Broadway and improve her dance and acting skills.
	Bradley is a fourteen year old who has had an interest in the performing arts for as long as he can remember. He hopes to pursue a career in it. During his second year at Destination Broadway, he plans on furthering his knowledge in vocal and acting.
	Katelyn is a very fun and outgoing sixteen year old. She loves to sing, dance and act. She hopes to improve her performing skills and get more experience this year at Destination Broadway.
	Amanda is fourteen years old. She is excited to be returning to Destination Broadway for the third year. Singing and dancing has become a passion of hers. She can’t wait to take classes all week to learn new songs and dances. She is looking forward to meeting new people and seeing friends from the past two summers.
	Ashley is seventeen years old. She is returning to Destination Broadway for the third year. She loves dancing and has been doing so for twelve years. At Destination Broadway she hopes to become a better all-around performer.
	Lucy is twelve years old. She has been acting on stage since she was seven. She hopes that her experience at Destination Broadway will add to the passion she has always had for the theater.
	Tawni is a sixteen year old dancer and aspiring actress. She is hoping to gain skills necessary to become a strong, all-around performer at Destination Broadway.
	Alyssa is a seventeen year old rising senior whose strengths include comedy and character acting. She enjoys writing, directing, teaching, and youth theater. She hopes to continue her singing and dancing at Destination Broadway this summer.
	Lydia is a thirteen year old who enjoys singing, acting, and dancing. She also likes to hang out with friends, yard sales, and collect costumes. At Destination Broadway she hopes to become a more well-rounded performer. Someday she hopes to act in movies.
	Katherine is a 15 year old returning to Destination Broadway for the third time. She loves nothing more than to be on stage! She has been acting in community theatre for five years and has been dancing and singing as long as she can remember. She hopes the experience at Destination Broadway will improve her skills and get her ready for auditions on Broadway.
	Isabella is a nine year old who likes to be kind and helping to others. She likes performing and singing for people. At Destination Broadway she hopes to improve her skills in performing arts for the second year.
	Cassie is nine year old who loves to sing, dance and just being able to perform. Her favorite is to sing big. She gets excited when performing. At Destination Broadway she hopes to improve her singing and dancing skills with amazing people.
	Madison is ten years old. She enjoys all aspects of musical theater including dancing and voice. She has bee in many regional productions. During her second year at Destination Broadway she hopes to improve her performing skills. Most importantly, she wants to have fun.
	Amanda is fifteen years old and loves singing, dancing, and acting. She also enjoys photography, reading, and spending time with friends. At Destination Broadway she hopes to learn more about becoming a better performer and pursing a professional theater career.
	Sean is a fourteen year old home-schooled student who has a passion for musical theater. He loves to perform and is extremely excited to be going to Destination Broadway.
	Alexandra is an eleven year old who is thrilled to be a pert of Destination Broadway. She loves singing and acting. She has a passion for theater of all kinds.
	Kayley is sixteen years old. She hopes Destination Broadway will provide her with invaluable skills she will need to continue her performing arts training. She can’t wait to be transformed and act.
	Maria is a fifteen year old who has been performing for eleven years. She loves Broadway. This is her second year attending Destination Broadway. She had a lot of fund last year and hopes to learn even more this year.
	Casey is a twelve year old returning to Destination Broadway for the second time this year. She has loved to perform ever since she could. She hopes that her experience at Destination Broadway will further intensify her love for the performing arts.

She has watched many Broadway musicals. She loves every one. She is also trying to pick up any voice, dance, and acting lessons along the way . . . to Broadway . . . at Destination Broadway this summer.
	Susanna is a very resilient seventeen year old. She has the endurance to overcome almost any obstacle whether it is physical, emotional, or mental. This quality has prepared her for a career in performance because it requires the ability to pick oneself up and take each rejection as an opportunity to improve for the future. At Destination Broadway she welcomes the opportunity to learn.
	Sala is a creative ten year old with a great love for dance and drawing. She enjoys dancing because it makes her feel happy and excited every time she performs. She loves to draw people because she thinks people are beautiful. At Destination Broadway, she hopes to learn more about dance and singing.
	Bella is ten years old. She loves to act. It has always been her dream to be on Broadway. At Destination Broadway she hopes to have a great time and perfect her skills.

	Anna is a thirteen year old whose venturesome nature is exhibited by her love to sing, act and dance. She has a special talent for singing and is able to intensely focus on what is given to her. She has performed in many theatrical performances in the last several years. At Destination Broadway she hopes to improve her skills.
	Savannah is a twelve year old actress who has loved theater for her whole life. At Destination Broadway, she hopes to learn audition techniques and what it takes to be on Broadway. She is so excited for Destination Broadway this summer.
	Timothy is a seventeen year old with a passion for music. He sings in three school and church choirs. Timothy hopes that Destination Broadway will cement his desire for a career in music and theater.
	Sydney is an eight year old who has been dancing in competitions since she was four. Her favorite types of dance are tap and lyrical. When Sydney is not dancing she enjoys swimming and playing with her friends. She is very excited about attending Destination Broadway this summer. When Sydney grows up she wants to be famous.
	Kaléa is a thirteen year old who has studied performing arts all over the world. She is a hard-working person who loves to have fun. She is excited to be attending Destination Broadway for the first time this summer. She can’t wait to learn a lot about performing arts from the pros.
	Ilana is twelve years old. She loves to perform and is looking forward to attending Destination Broadway for the second time this year this summer.
	Chelsea is thirteen years old. She is a singer who dances. She is friendly, fun-loving, and ready to learn. She can’t wait to attend Destination Broadway.
	Kiersten is a 13 years old returning to Destination Broadway for the second time. She is a hardworking person who strives for perfection. She loves to sing, act, and dance. She hopes to learn more skills again this summer to help her in the future at Destination Broadway.
