Eugene Fleming recently made his jazz club debut with a tribute to legendary soul singer Sam Cooke. Eugene performed such songs as Best Things in Life, Don’t Get Around Much Anymore, Nobody Knows You and Blowin' in the Wind.
Eugene’s career spans two decades. His Broadway show credits include A Chorus Line (Original), The Tap Dance Kid (Original), Black and Blue (Original), High Rollers Social and Pleasure Club (Original), Swinging on a Star (Original), Street Corner (Original), Fosse (Original), Kiss Me, Kate (Original), One Mo’ Time (Original), The Look of Love (Original) and Never Gonna Dance (Original).
A recipient of the Joseph Jefferson Award for his performance in Ain’t Misbehavin, Eugene was most recently honored with a Barrymore Award for his portrayal of James Thunder Early in Dreamgirls’ at the Princess Music Theater in Philadelphia.
